EducationQuest Get Social Scholarships Awarded

LINCOLN – A trio of Nebraska high school students were awarded scholarship funds earlier this month.

According to a release from EducationQuest, the EducationQuest Foundation has awarded three high school seniors with $500 ‘Get Social Scholarships’.

A Norfolk High senior Abigail Ruda joins Austin Welchert, senior from Fort Calhoun and Milad Barakat, senior from Lincoln High as the recipients.

‘Get Social Scholarships’ are awarded each time EducationQuest adds another 250 followers on any of its social media platforms, including Facebook<https://www.facebook.com/EducationQuest>, Twitter<https://twitter.com/EducationQuest>, Instagram<https://instagram.com/educationquest> and YouTube<https://www.youtube.com/EducationQuest>.

When a new threshold is reached, current and new followers are provided a link to a scholarship entry form and a random drawing is conducted.

Ruda from Norfolk High was awarded the first Get Social Scholarship for YouTube when EducationQuest reached 500 subscribers.

Welchert from Fort Calhoun High School was awarded a Get Social Scholarship after EducationQuest reached 10,000 likes on Facebook.

Barakat from Lincoln High School was awarded a Get Social Scholarship when EducationQuest reached 4,750 followers on Twitter.
