WAYNE – An alum of Wayne State College recently was featured in a recent magazine for an article he wrote titled ‘5 things I’ve learned as an LGBTQ+ advocate’.
Dr. Ron Holt, a 1989 graduate from WSC, wrote an article for The DO magazine which is a national magazine for osteopathic physicians and surgeons.
The article was published on Wednesday, June 19.
Holt is a board-certified psychiatrist, an author, activist and motivational speaker who is helping to raise awareness about LGBTQ+ rights within the DO community around the world.
The five topics among the article talk about; know who you are; there are many ways to serve; take baby steps; the dots will connect for you and trust that the doors will open.
