Dixon County Adds One New COVID-19 Positive Case, NNPHD Health District Reports 18 Negatives

WAYNE – COVID-19 negative tests surpassed the 1,000-mark Thursday while one new positive case was confirmed in the Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department.

According to a release from NNPHD, the new patient is a male in his 50s from Dixon county as 18 negative tests were also reported on the day.

As of Thursday afternoon, there have been 1,289 COVID-19 tests reported for people living in the NNPHD Health District of Cedar, Dixon, Thurston and Wayne counties. The results of these tests are 235 positive cases (Cedar – 8, Dixon – 45, Thurston – 156 and Wayne county – 26), 1,013 negatives and 41 tests currently pending results.
