Dixon County Adds Four COVID-19 Positive Cases Since Saturday, 106 NNPHD Health District Residents Have Recovered

WAYNE – Beginning today (Monday, June 22), officials with the Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department started to provide information of numbers recovered in their health district.

According to a release from NNPHD, four positive COVID-19 cases were conformed over the past three days of Saturday – Monday which also included 9 negative tests. The new patients are all from Dixon county.

As of Monday evening, there have been 1,315 COVID-19 tests reported for people living in the NNPHD Health District of Cedar, Dixon, Thurston and Wayne counties. The results of these tests are 244 positive cases (Cedar – 10, Dixon – 49, Thurston – 159 and Wayne county – 26) and 1,024 negative tests. Also, 106 residents have recovered.

NNPHD Health officials are also working on a reporting process for hospitalizations and deaths.
