December School Board Meeting Slated For Monday

WAYNE – The final Wayne Community Schools Board of Education meeting of 2018 will be held on Monday, December 10 at 5 p.m.

From the Wayne Jr/Sr High School Library, room 407 board members will hear more about an after school program. Elementary principal Russ Plager would like to form a committee and bring back information from a meeting to the school board in January.

High school counselor, Melody Hill will also provide ACT results for the class of 2018.

Under new business, the Superintendent contract will be voted on along with health insurance rates for 2019-20 school year.

Superintendent Mark Lenihan will provide an update on State Accountability, the HVAC project and go over the first draft of the 2019-20 school year calendar.

The December honor coffee will feature those who participated in All-State Choir, state qualifying volleyball team, mock trial, unified bowling and All-State Band.
