SOUTH SIOUX CITY –The Dakota Thurston County Fair will get underway on Wednesday evening with the Little Prince/Princess Coronation at 7 p.m.
Activities for the whole family continue Thursday with the parade at 6 p.m. in downtown South Sioux City as well as the community BBQ at 7 p.m. and the Tri-State Shootout Tractor Pull at 7 as well.
On Friday there will be wine and beer tasting from 5-8 p.m., the Escape Room will be from 6-8 p.m., and Dueling Pianos will be happening in the beer garden from 7-10 p.m. The Western States Ranch Rodeo will also be at 7 p.m. on Friday night.
Saturday’s events include the free gaming truck from 4:30-10:30 p.m. The Big River Band will play at 2 p.m. in the expo building and Extreme Bull Riding gets underway at 7 p.m. The 4-H sponsored movie will be at 9 p.m. in the expo building as well with the playing of “Jumanji”.
Sunday features the Iowa NBHA Barrel Racing at 1 p.m. along with a horseshow tournament at 1 as well. There will be a garden tractor pull as well from 1-4 p.m.
