WAYNE – Both the Wayne County Board of Equalization and Board of Commissions plan on meeting in early July.
On Tuesday, July 2, the board of equalization will open the meeting at 9 a.m. from the Wayne County Courthouse courtroom. The board will look to approve the listing of real property that was omitted from/or needed to be corrected on the March 19 assessment roll.
Moving into the regularly scheduled board of commissioners meeting, Steve Muir with Elkhorn Valley Insurance will bring forward United Healthcare Insurance renewal information to the board.
Highway Superintendent, Mark Casey will provide road/bridge project updates along with discussing a transfer of ownership.
Commissioners will also seek approval from a resolution authorizing the execution of an ACH Origination Agreement for up to four transfers a month between the county and Elkhorn Valley Bank & Trust.
The board will then recess their regularly scheduled meeting until next Monday at 1 p.m. to walk around and go over the stone work portion of the courthouse restoration project with Berggren Architect and Kingery Construction.
