County Commissioners To Approve Lodging Tax Grant Applications, Hear Updates

WAYNE – Several Lodging Tax Grant applications will seek approval during Tuesday morning’s regularly scheduled Wayne County Board of Commissioners meeting.

From the Wayne County Courthouse courtroom, the meeting will begin at 9 a.m.

A total of 20 Lodging Tax Grant applications will be on the agenda with recommendations from the Wayne County Convention & Visitors Bureau Committee to approve 19 with one based on the decision of the Commissioner’s.

County Assessor, Dawn Duffy will then provide an update on the overview of values.

At 9:20 a.m., Sandra Hansen will bring forth updates on the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds followed by an emergency management update from Nic Kemnitz, Wayne County Emergency Manager at 9:30 a.m.

The meeting will close out with road and bridge updates from Highway Superintendent, Mark Casey as the board will look to act on truck bids which were opened earlier this month
