WAYNE – A Mobile Office is being scheduled for Thursday, October 28 to meet with a representative from the office of Congressman Adrian Smith.
Constituents of Third District Congressman Smith (R-NE) are invited to meet in the back room of the Max from 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. this Thursday located at 109 Main Street in Wayne.
At mobile offices, Third District residents can meet directly with one of Smith’s staff members about federal issues and take advantage of the services available through his office.
Information that will be passed along includes a mortgage and utilities assistance program which is available for those who have lost income due to the economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This program is for more rural areas of Nebraska. To qualify, you or an adult member of your household must have had a loss of income due to COVID-19; you have not received other federal, state or local assistance for the same debt, you have unpaid mortgage that began on or after March 1, 2020 and your household’s current income is 80% AMI (area median income) or under for your county of residence.

Congressman Smith will also be holding a Mobile Office in the South Sioux City, City Hall at 1615 1st Avenue from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
