Concrete, Carpet Bids To Be Received During Wayne School Board Meeting

WAYNE – Board of Education officials will hold their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, March 14 in Wayne.

From the Jr/Sr High School Library, the board will begin their meeting at 5 p.m. where a trio of resignation action items will be addressed along with information on the Junior High social studies and junior high match positions.

There will also be a Haven House presentation prior to old and new business items.

Among old business, second readings will be heard on the AIM Document for a nine-month full-time classified staff benefit sub-group as well as the 2022-23 Early Learning Center Handbook.

During new business, administrator contracts will be brought up along with a Policy 5006 (Option Enrollment Resolution Appendix).

The Wayne School Board will hear a price estimate on summer carpeting projects from Jason Sears Flooring along with a concrete work quote from Jorgensen Concrete and Construction.

Closing out new business items will be a revised document for the west High School entrance stoop-stair replacement from Bambam Concrete, INC. out of Omaha.

Superintendent of Wayne Community Schools, Dr. Mark Lenihan will address teacher contracts and the Nebraska Association of School Boards Strategic Plan Administrator priorities during administration reports.
