Concord AWANA Youth Clubs To Meet From 7 – 8 PM Through April Each Wednesday, Parents Registration Night Is September 9

CONCORD – A non denominational organization featuring bible stories, scripture memorization games, songs and treats will get underway this week.

According to a release from Deb Dickey, Concord AWANA Clubs will begin on Wednesday, September 9 during a registration night. The event will take place at the Evangelical Free Church located at 617 Broadway in Concord.

All area children are invited as registration will last from 7 – 8 p.m. for the parents with no clubber activities for the evening this week.

The first ‘Club Night’ will be next Wednesday, September 16. Check-in will begin at 6:45 p.m. with the club running from 7 – 8 p.m. Note, this is a new time as Awana Clubs will continue to meet each Wednesday from 7 – 8 p.m. through April. Next week’s theme will be ‘Night of Light and Beauty’. Clubbers are encouraged to wear bright colorful clothing.

Participating children will earn bible and activity awards to be displayed on Awana vests and banners. The Concord Evangelical Free Church provides Clubs for ages 4 – 5 (Cubbies); grades kindergarten – second (Sparks) third through sixth (Mission: Grace in Action) and junior high (Trek).
