WAYNE – The first weekend in December will also mark a ribbon cutting event during Friday morning chamber coffee this week.
Plan on joining Wayne EyeCare on Friday, December 6 at 10 a.m. for the weekly event hosted by Wayne Area Economic Development.
Wayne EyeCare was acquired in June of 2018 as the EyeCare central location is in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa while they also have a location in Marcus, Iowa.
Katherine Rosenbaum is an office manager with the EyeCare and said they took over the practice from Dr. Koeber.
“So, we kind of came in the community looking to know take on all the patients and kind of put a new face out there,” said Rosenbaum. “Keep something established there as well.”
Wayne EyeCare is open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and offers appointments every Monday and the third Thursday of each month while being closed on Saturday and Sunday.
“We have two that work in the practice that are there full-time,” Rosenbaum added. “They’re there to assist patients. If you ever need your glasses adjusted, any question answered, scheduled appointments. They can do a various number of things there.”
The two doctors that commute to the practice are Dr. Tyler Lefeber and Dr. Benjamin Uhl and will also be in town Friday morning.
