WAYNE – As the Future Farmers of America (FFA) Chapter at Wayne Community Schools start their second year, the public is invited to a weekend event.
The Future of Ag Banquet is scheduled for Saturday, August 18. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with a free will donation meal starting at 6 p.m. from the Wayne County Expo Center on the fairgrounds.
There’ll be a local agriculture career panel along with Trent Loos as Ag Entertainment.
Proceeds will benefit local FFA chapters.
The Future of Ag Banquet is sponsored by the Wayne County Farm Bureau as steaks will be grilled by the Nebraska Cattlemen.
Ms. Toni Rasmussen is the sponsor for FFA as she teaches Agriculture Education in the Career and Technical Education area.
