we're doing it again! We hope you will join us as we spread out across the city

WAYNE – It began last year as an event to allow the community to get out from under the Covid-19 cloud. As Pastor Nick Baker describes it: “Last year, we launched a Community Christmas Caroling Event because so many were unable to gather in groups to lift their voices and spirits by singing Christmas Carols at our different long-term care residential communities, the hospital, and at the homes of those who are unable to get out during the wintery weather.”

Based on the reaction in the community, the event will be repeated – this time on  Sunday, December 12, 7pm – 8pm

Baker says: “we’re doing it again! We hope you will join us as we spread out across the city, singing Christmas Carols with the help of our friends at 98.9 FM and 1590 AM – The City.

Tune in at 7pm on December 12 and follow along with these song sheets: Community Christmas Caroling! (click the highlighted area for the downloadable song sheets).

During the event, participants are invited to sing in the parking lot at our care communities, hospital, schools, churches, even at the big Christmas Tree near the intersection of Highways 15 and 35. Maybe you want to sing as you look at Christmas lights. Wherever you go, and whatever you do, take us along for the ride and enjoy the Christmas season!
