WAYNE – Northeast Nebraska Public Power District had crews out Saturday working to get power back to their customers during a springtime storm.
Communities effected were from Osmond to Winside as well as West of Sholes to Randolph on Saturday, April 14.
Lineman Superintendent, Matt Sorenson said with ice on the lines, mixed with high winds, slapped quite a few lines together.
“It knocked our sub transmission line out and we got that isolated and heated back up,” said Sorenson. “One of our crew is over at the Elkhorn Public Power District working with them trying to restore power to their customers.”
All Northeast Nebraska Public Power District customers were back on around 9 p.m. Saturday.
