WAYNE – The Wayne County Board of Commissioners will open their first of two regularly scheduled meetings in the month of December on Tuesday.

From the Wayne County Courthouse courtroom, the meeting will begin at 9 a.m.

Highway superintendent, Mark Casey will bring forth a motion to approve resolution 19-25. This will authorize the chairman to sign the NE Department of Transportation Year-End Certification of County Highway Superintendent. Casey will also provide updates on road/bridge and wind energy projects.

Two motions will seek approval for the Courthouse Renovation project from Berggren Architects. These approvals will be for a reduction in the masonry allowance and an addendum to the original contract between Wayne County and Kingery Construction to clarify the use of masonry allowance for work other than exclusively brick tuckpointing.
