Commissioners To Address Courthouse Restoration Project, Bid Opening For Hoskins Northwest Project At 9:45 AM

WAYNE – As the calendar changes, the Wayne County Board of Commissioners will hold their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, November 3 at 9 a.m.

From the Wayne County Courthouse courtroom, an agenda item from the second October meeting will be brought back Tuesday morning. Tammy Paustian, treasurer, will discuss the certification of the total number of new distress warrants issued and the total amount of money involved.

As the courthouse restoration project comes to an end, commissioners will address the signing of the Certification of Partial Substantial Completion.

Highway Superintendent, Mark Casey will provide project updates on road/bridge as well as wind energy. Casey will need to authorize the board to sign a resolution of certifying proper completion for the D. Junck bridge. Commissioners will also hear from Mike Herbst on a request to reconsider liquidated damages amount for the Temme bridge project.

A bid opening is also scheduled for 9:45 a.m. Tuesday for the Hoskins Northwest project.
