City Council To Discuss Goals, CDBG Consultant Agreement

WAYNE – To open the first regularly scheduled Wayne City Council meeting of February, just a few agenda items are being featured.

From the council chambers inside the City Hall, council will meet on Tuesday, February 4 at 5:30 p.m.

The second reading for a parking ordinance will seek an amendment which includes to prohibit parking on both sides of Summerfield Drive and Industrial Drive.

Councilmembers will then identify City of Wayne goals for the current year and future from the mini-retreats that have taken place over the past year. Council may add, delete or move the goals from current to future or vice versa at their discretion during the meeting.

A consultant agreement will then be brought forward relating to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). The resolution would be between the City and Northeast Nebraska Economic Development District for Construction Management Services. The City of Wayne was awarded up to $435,000 to be used for infrastructure improvements. Construction management service fees shall not exceed $10,000.
