NORFOLK – The Nor-Park redevelopment project has been approved and could house hundreds of new resident in the city.
In a meeting Monday, the Norfolk City Council voted to approve the long-debated Nor-Park redevelopment, near East Omaha Avenue and Channel Road in Norfolk.
The project will include 2 apartment buildings with 28 units each, 5 triplex lots, 11 single-family attached town-homes structures and 28 single family detached homes.
Moenning says Nor-Park has been under consideration for almost 2 years.
He says the council was waiting to approve the development until more detail and exact numbers of units were established.
