Christmas In The Woods Continues At Ponca State Park

PONCA – Join Ponca State Park in another fun filled Saturday as Christmas in the Woods resumes on December 8.

Saturday’s activities begin at 9:30 a.m. with participants being able to make a Christmas countdown craft. Meet at the Resource and Education Center to join in on the craft making. Cost is $1 per craft and there is a limit of 30.

At 11:30 a.m. join in on the festive cupcake decorating also at the Resource and Education Center. This event is free and also has a limit of 30.

From 1-2 p.m. take a Winter Wonderland Photo at the Resource and Education Center. Winter props and costumes are available. Photos are free and will be emailed to participants via wetransfer.com.

At 2:30 p.m. join in on the Winter Wonderland activity at the Resource and Education Center to play with and learn about water in its three forms. This is a free event.

The day comes to a close with a lighted hayrack ride at 5 p.m. Enjoy the frosty chill of a winter evening on a hayrack that will travel from the Resource and Education Center to the Tri-State Overlook and back. Pre-register at the front desk of the Resource and Education Center to enjoy the free ride.
