Chicken Show T-Shirt Design Revealed, Go On Sale April 12

WAYNE – With the Wayne Chicken Show t-shirts to go on sale in less than a month, the Wayne Chicken Show Committee released the design for the 42nd annual event ahead of this summer.

The 2022 Wayne Chicken Show will be held Friday, July 8 – Sunday, July 10 in Wayne with this year’s theme being “Chicken’s Guide to the Galaxy. The Meaning of Life, the Universe and Egg-rything”.

The Wayne Chicken Show t-shirt was designed by Brittany Webber which features space, chickens and the Wayne America water tower. On the sleeve is a play-off of the hitchhiker’s symbol designed to look like a chicken. “Don’t panic” is printed on the sleeve upside down to give reassurance to the wearer.

Chicken Show t-shirts will go on sale on April 12 and will be available at the Wayne Area Economic Development office located at 108 W 3rd Street. T-shirts will be available for $20 for youth small through adult XL and $22 for adult 2xl and 3xl.

Again, the Wayne Chicken Show is held annually on the second weekend in July and the 42nd Wayne Chicken Show will be held July 8-10. Founded by the Wayne Regional Arts Council, the Wayne Chicken Show was first held in 1981.
