WAYNE – With the Wayne Chicken Show just over a week away, some event deadlines are scheduled for Thursday, July 1.

Candy or treats can be passed out or thrown from the curb only, not from float or vehicle. Also, each entry with a water feature must be respectful of electronics (no drenching of the spectators). Entries with animals must also clean up waste immediately.
Parade line up numbers will be posted to chickenshow.com on Thursday, July 8 as you can pick up your printed number at the information booth on Henoween (Friday, July 9) or at 1st and Pearl Street after 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. You may also create your own number sign as numbers need to be displayed on the passenger side of your vehicle. Also, when lining up, do not block driveways, side streets or alleys. Once you reach the end of the parade, exit south on Lincoln Street or West on 7th Street.
