WAYNE – With the monthly Wayne Chicken Show Committee meeting scheduled for Monday evening, the group selected their theme last month.
According to a release from the Wayne Chicken Show Committee, the 42nd annual theme will be ‘Chickens Guide to the Galaxy. The Meaning of Life, the Universe and Egg-verything’.
This is a nod to the book, radio play and movie ‘Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’ and the overall theme will be space and science fiction themed.
The 2022 Wayne Chicken Show will be July 8 – 10 in Wayne.
To prepare properly for the theme and brainstorm ideas for the 42nd Chicken Show, the committee will have their next meeting on Monday, November 8 at 6 p.m. from The Majestic Theatre and watch a movie. This is a private event but if you are interested in joining the Wayne Chicken Show Committee, reach out to Abby Schademann, Marketing, Events and Tourism Coordinator at Wayne Area Economic Development. Email Abby at email@example.com or call WAED at 402-375-2240.
