WAYNE – Carhart Lumber hosted Wayne Chamber Coffee Friday morning from their store at 105 Main Street. Vice-president, Brenda Carhart, took the opportunity to introduce the new Carhart Interior Designs specialist, Tammy Schweers to the community.
In early November 2017, the home improvement store decided to branch off into a new direction with the help of Schweers.
“We started Carhart Interior Designs and so I’m pretty much here to specialize on window coverings and just help with interior design in general,” Schweers said.
Schweers is splitting time between the Wayne, Norfolk and Pierce Carhart stores. With over 30 years of experience, she is ready to help her customers bring their ideas to fruition. Those wanting to use her services can call Carhart to schedule an appointment. Schweers said she does a lot of in-home consultations, but there are benefits to coming in to see the displays in the store.
“If you can see it, you can visualize it in your own home, so I think the displays are very helpful in that sense,” Schweers said.
The next Wayne Chamber Coffee will be hosted Logan Creek Pheasants Forever at the Wayne City Auditorium at 10 a.m. on March 2nd.
