Candidate Filings For Incumbents Due Monday, New Filers August 1

WAYNE – After the May Primaries in Nebraska come the General Election in November as incumbent and new filer deadlines are approaching.

Those seeking incumbent fillings for Public Power District Board of Directors, Districts grossing less than 40 million-dollars, Educational Service Unit Boards, County Weed Boards and Village Board of Trustees are due by Monday, July 16. The last day for new filers is Wednesday, August 1.

Stop by the Wayne County Clerk office at 510 N Pearl Street to file which is open from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. Call 402-375-2288 or email clerk@wayne.nacone.org for any questions.
