Campus Store Welcomes Community During Chamber Coffee

WAYNE – After a remodel earlier this year, the Wayne State College Bookstore became the Campus Store sporting more than just books.

The Campus Store is housed in the Kanter Student Center on the Wayne State College campus.

Tim Barnes is the Store Manager and explained more about the company, Follett Higher Education Group during Chamber Coffee.

“So, we have a network of schools that we can pull other books from,” said Barnes. “So, when a student shops on our website, the book can come from another store if we don’t have it.”

Follet has been around for over 140 years and has 1,200 stores at schools across the county.

Visit the Campus Store website at waynestateshop.com or call 402-375-7099 with any questions. Community members are welcome any time to check out the campus and the Campus Store by parking in the designated visiting spots.

Barnes added the portion where the bookstore was built was all original.

“In early February we remodeled and that’s the look you get now,” Barnes added. “We wanted to brand Wayne State College, so when you walk into the store you know what school you’re at.”

Another new addition with the remodel includes selling laptops to students who can use their financial aid.

Join Woehler & Sons at 2nd and Logan Street for the next Friday morning Chamber Coffee at 10 a.m. on August 17.
