Businesses Can Apply For 2021 Governor’s Wellness Award, Deadline June 15, 2021

LINCOLN – Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts announced that the 2021 Governor’s Wellness Award is available for application. The award encourages businesses to strive for quality wellness programs. This specifically entails assessing employee’s health risks and interests, leadership and support, and a written wellness plan with measurable goals.

There are three levels of awards. The Sower, Grower, and Harvester levels. Sower being a business that has recently planted the seed of a wellness plan. The Grower level shows progress in the business’ plan. The Harvester level is for a business demonstrating high-quality outcomes with their wellness plan.

June 15, 2021 is the deadline to finish the application process. A webinar explaining the process and can be found here. The application can be found here.
