NEBRASKA CITY –A young boy suffered serious injuries after an early evening accident on Nebraska City’s Central Avenue. It happened just before 6 p.m. Friday near the intersection of 12th and Central after police say an adolescent male wemt into the street from between two parked vehicles.
The driver of an east bound pick-up hit the boy who was transported by medical helicopter to an Omaha hospital.
Police tell News Channel Nebraska the adolescent was able to talk with rescuers at the scene.
