Boone County Fair Events Continue Into Tuesday, Wednesday

ALBION – Following a kid’s day and the monster truck racing league putting on a show Monday, the 137th annual Boone County Fair will continue with music and more events early in the week.

According to a release from the Boone County Fair, their highlighted event in the grandstand in Albion is Sawyer Brown at 8 p.m. with special guest Parmalee taking the stage at 7 p.m. tonight.

General admission advanced tickets are $15 or $25 at the gate while advanced pit tickets are $30 or $40 at the gate. Gates open at 4:30 p.m.

The ‘Senior Day’ event will begin at 1 p.m. and last until 3:30 p.m.

Wednesday, July 14 will close out the Boone County Fair with the Junior Rodeo at noon; ‘Women’s Day’ from 2 – 4 p.m. and Snowmobile races (two-car chain/trailer race) in the grandstand at 7:30 p.m. Admissions for the races are $15 for adults, $5 for kids 6-12 as pit tickets are $25.

The 4-H livestock sale is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 15.
