Bond Payments Seek Approval, Public Hearing On Commissioner Voting Districts At 9:30 AM Tuesday

WAYNE – Both the Wayne County Board of Equalization and Commissioners will plan on meeting on Tuesday, November 16.

From the Public Safety Annex at 9 a.m., the Board of Equalization will take action on personal property correction and Homestead Exemption correction.

Moving into the regularly scheduled Board of Commissioners meeting at 9:05 a.m., the group will first take action on a resolution authorizing participation in the Northeast Nebraska Economic Development District.

An action will also be addressed on a County Burial application.

Bond payment approvals will then be brought forward. They include Highway Allocation Fund Pledge Bonds for Series 2014 ($177,081.25), 2019 ($22,651.25) and 2021 ($142,270). Each will have a fee of $200 and broken down with each total.

Road and bridge project updates will be provided by Highway Superintendent, Mark Casey. Board of Commissioner will also act on a resolution for the County Annual Certification of Program Compliance 2021 to the Nebraska Board of Public Road Classifications and Standards.

A public hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on the proposed commissioner voting districts with a resolution to follow on setting the commissioner voting districts.

Bradley Construction Management, Haystack Wind Project will address the board on updates at 9:40 a.m. prior to adjourning.
