Board Of Commissioners to Authorize Signatures For Pictometry, Annual TRANE Service Agreements

WAYNE – A series of appointments will take place during the regularly scheduled Wayne County Board of Commissioners meeting this week.

For the second time in the month, Commissioners will meet from the Wayne County Courthouse courtroom at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, October 20.

Wayne County Treasurer, Tammy Paustian will bring forward the certification of the total number of new distress warrants issued as well as the total amount of money involved.

County commissioners will look to authorize a signature from County Assessor, Dawn Duffy for the Pictometry Agreement. The motion was initially made on September 1 to approve an agreement not to exceed $69,030 per flight and the final agreement states a price of $67,020 per flight.

Highway Superintendent, Mark Casey will also provide updates on both road/bridge as well as wind energy projects. Commissioners will discuss Haystack Wind as the project is looking to submit cash for security instead of a road bond. Bids will also be opened at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday for Bonnell road drag.

An annual TRANE Service Agreement for the HVAC system will be brought forward. The fee of $8,718 will be subject to a 3% prepayment discount.

Commissioners will also designate individuals to cast ballots for election of officers at the 2020 NACO Convention.

Building project updates will close out the agenda for the Wayne County Board of Commissioners.
