Blue Devil Play Production Places Third During NSAA State Championships

WAYNE – Six Class A and six Class B High Schools were represented during the final day of the 2020 NSAA Play Production Championships.

From Johnny Carson Theatre in Norfolk, 36 performances took place over a three-day period.

The Class B champion from Friday went to York “A Gentlemen’s Guide to Love and Murder” while Omaha Concordia placed runner-up with their “The Last Roundup of the Guacamole Queens”. The Blue Devils finished third place from their “10 Ways to Survive the End of the World”. WHS last finished third place when they last qualified for state in 2012 in Class B.

 

Class A team will crown their champion at 10:30 p.m. Friday night.

Class C1: Wausmond (Wausa-Osmond); runner-up: Archbishop Bergan

Class C2: Creighton; runner-up: Loup City

Class D1: Pawnee City; runner-up: Stapleton

Class D2: Arnold; runner-up: Chambers
