WAYNE – Over the next week, a trio of blood drives will be held in the community of Wayne.
Throughout the day on Wednesday, December 22, the Wayne Girl Scouts will be hosting a blood drive along with the Logan Miller and Brooklyn Kruse Scholarship Blood Drive. Also, next Wednesday, December 29, will be another community blood drive in Wayne.
Be a good scout and donate blood from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Wednesday as the Wayne Girl Scouts will be at Journey Christian Church (1110 East 7th Street).
Scouts are asking for community members to give the gift of life to someone in need of blood products. To schedule an appointment, contact Brandy Saltzman at 402-369-0569 or visit redcrossblood.org. Walk in’s will also be welcome with an open time slot. All donors and volunteers must wear a mask during the Wayne Girl Scouts Red Cross blood drive.
Another event on Wednesday will be the Logan Miller and Brooklyn Kruse LifeServe Blood Center Scholarship Blood Drive. The event will be held at the Wayne Fire Hall (510 Tomar Drive) between 12:30 – 6 p.m.
LifeServe Blood Center is seeking eligible blood donors to give blood at upcoming community blood drives this winter to benefit local hospital patients.

Other year-end LifeServe Community Blood Drives will be back in Wayne on Wednesday, December 29 from 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Wayne Fire Hall as well as Thursday, December 30 in Randolph between 1 – 6:30 p.m. at the Senior Citizen’s Center (104 West Broadway).
