NEBRASKA CITY – A Hispanic Nebraska City man was taken to CHI Health St. Mary’s Tuesday afternoon after a collision at the bottom of the hill on Third Corso and 12th Street.
A neighbor attended to the man, saying he was not speaking English, but he accepted a towel to stop minor bleeding.
Nebraska City Fire and Rescue transported him to the hospital.
The neighbor said it appears the man was riding the bicycle down the hill and failed to stop at a stop sign. The collision with a Dodge Ram pickup driven by a Nebraska City woman bent the frame on the bicycle.
