PONCA – Bring the family out for great camping experiences during “Becoming an Outdoors Family” event hosted by Ponca State Park.
Between Friday, August 3 – Sunday, August 5 Ponca State Park will provide an opportunity for families to reconnect with each other and the outdoors in a comfortable, safe and relaxing setting.
The campout will teach skills relating to a variety of outdoor activities including kayaking, camping, outdoor cooking, archery, hiking and shooting sports. Park instructors will offer the basic knowledge of hands-on experience and encourage all participants to ask questions and have fun.
Parents are asked to bring their kids and their cousins, grandparents may bring their grandkids while aunts and uncles can bring their nieces and nephews; bring the people you call family.
The “Becoming an Outdoor Family” campout will take place at Ponca State Park in tents. Loaner tents are available upon request.
Cost for a family of six or less is $120 as each additional family members is $10. Four meals are included in the free.
