WAYNE – As other communities in northeast Nebraska host events for their small businesses, several free workshops are scheduled to be in Wayne towards the end of October into November.
These events are for local entrepreneurs and business owners in the Wayne area.
Sponsored by the Central for Rural Affairs and the Wayne Public Library, each session is limited to 10 attendees. The training sessions will take place from the library, located at 410 North Pearl Street.
A two-day Basic QuickBooks session will be offered first on Thursday, October 25 and then on Thursday, November 1 from 5 – 8 p.m. both nights. Other 5 – 8 p.m. workshops will feature an Advanced QuickBooks session on Thursday, November 8 and an Advanced Excel session on Thursday, November 15.
Diann Ballard from db-Consulting, LLC of Pender will be the course instructor. The use of laptops and software will also be provided.
