Allo Communications Requesting Easements, Public Hearing On Savidge Court 2nd Addition Tuesday night

WAYNE – Along with another cadet membership for the Wayne Volunteer Fire Department being proposed, several action items will highlight Tuesday evening’s regularly scheduled Wayne City Council meeting.

From council chambers inside City Hall, the meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. with an action item to allow Logan Miller to pursue cadet membership at the fire department.

A third action item in the last month will then pertain to a request to return newly adjusted sewer rate to what it was a year ago based on previous year’s water consumptions.

A pair of action items from Allo Communications, LLC will feature ‘Easement for Fiber Optic Facilities & Structures’. One easement is across the area east of Hank Overin Field to run fiber over to equipment that will set on the property to the south while another is in Viken Park which is needed to set equipment for one of the PON’s that Allo talked about in the permit.

A public hearing will also be set for Tuesday evening to consider the Planning Commission’s recommendation regarding the ‘Savidge Court 2nd Addition Plat, a Replat of the Savidge Court Administrative Replat’.

Resolution items will include approving the ‘Savidge Court 2nd Addition Plat, a Replat of the Savidge Court Administrative Replat’; accept a bid and award a contract on the ‘Request for Proposals – Lagoon Fence Project’ and approve an agreement with Hanna: Keelan Associates PC for professional services relating to a ‘Community Housing Study Update’.

Third and final readings will also be brought forward on a pair of ordinances amending the zoning map and Wayne Municipal Code.

Along with adopting the City Administrator Employment Agreement, council will then close out the meeting by discussing ‘Food Truck Parking’.
