WAYNE – After looking for a possible May 1 date to open presale tickets of Wayne County Fair passes, the Wayne County Agriculture Society has delayed the sale.
The 98th annual Wayne County Fair is still scheduled for July 23 – 26.
Season passes were originally scheduled to go on sale April 1 and then were set to be sold between May 1 – June 15 for their early bird price of $35, but have since been postponed.
The Wayne County Agriculture Society will release updated information on when they’ll start selling fair passes.
Once available, tickets could be purchased at Pac N’ Save, BankFirst (Wayne/Wakefield), Elkhorn Valley Bank & Trust (Wayne/Hoskins), State Nebraska Bank & Trust, F&M Bank, Wayne County Bank (Winside), Farmers State Bank (Carroll), The Station (Carroll) and Bailey’s Hair & Nails (Wayne).
The next Wayne County Agriculture Society meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 14.
The 2020 Wayne County Fair entertainment will feature Shenandoah with special guest Restless Heart on Saturday, July 25.
Bullriding will be back during Thursday of the fair, tractor pull Friday and following Saturday’s concerts will be the demo derby on Sunday, July 26. The 2019 Wayne County Fair also received pull of the year again from their Friday night tractor pull.
