WAYNE – Several sponsoring businesses have received complimentary tickets to be issued for the 13th annual Ag Outlook Seminar and Appreciation Lunch in early December.
According to a release from Wayne Area Economic Development (WAED), the speakers were announced earlier this month. The seminar and lunch will take place on Friday, December 3 at the Wayne Fire Hall (510 Tomar Drive) beginning at 9 a.m.
Hannah Borg, representing Borg Family Farms will open the Outlook seminar with “A Place for Women in Agriculture” followed by a session with Nebraska Extension Educator, Jay Parsons, regarding ‘Risk Management in this Uncertain World’. The third session will feature Karen Kollars from the Nebraska Tourism Commission. The third session will touch on what is agritourism, resources available as well as how it can make a difference for a farm or ranch along with your community and state.
During the Outlook Seminar, Bill Dickey with Wayne Area Legacy Fund will explain the options of gifting grain and livestock.
The Seminar will conclude with a hearty lunch catered by Vel’s Bakery.
