WAYNE – Throughout the final week of July, join Providence Wellness Center for a virtual chicken run and have some fun.
With the scheduled 40th annual Wayne Chicken Show weekend past and Wayne residents awaiting for the one-day bird bash on Saturday, September 12, staff at the Providence Wellness Center are currently holding the Wayne Virtual Chicken Run 5K this week.
The event opened on Saturday, July 25 and will last through Friday, July 31 for anyone to complete their 5K and submit their finish time to allsportscentral.com along with any photos taken in their BIB. Participants can run or walk the race distance to capture their time on a treadmill, trail, road, park, sidewalk or simply run/walk around the house or yard.
Registration fee is $25 which includes an event shirt, bib, the virtual run and all proceeds will go towards JBT Island Warrior (Jesse Titml) as he fights against Leukemia.
