Assisted Living Week Closes Saturday, Friday Morning Chamber Coffee Featured

WAYNE – Wayne Countryview Care and Rehabilitation along with their residents welcomed all during a weekly chamber coffee event Friday morning.

Following last year’s chamber coffee, Liz Sharer joined Wayne Countryview working with marketing and admissions. Sharer talked about what Wayne Countryview offers.

“We offer assisted living, skilled nursing as well as rehab-to-home,” said Sharer. “So, you go to the hospital and need some rehab before heading home, we offer that as well as outpatient therapy.”

Along with Sharer speaking, Cheri Wingert; administrator and Misty Wylie; assisted living coordinator also spoke.

National Assisted Living Week ends Saturday as Wayne Countryview planned on hosting a family event Friday and they also held special activities earlier in the week.

There are some rooms available along with suite options at Wayne Countryview as they’re always accepting people and if there is a waiting list, they can get them on that.

Visit waynecountryview.com or call 402-375-1922 to schedule a personalized tour or if you have any questions.

Sharer added they are excited about an upcoming event on October 24.

“We’re going to have our second annual Halloween party,” Sharer added. “We did it last year (and) we had a great turnout of kids,” Sharer added. “So, we’re hoping to get more businesses this year that will host a booth or a table to just make it more fun for the kids.”

Trick or treaters are invited to visit Wayne Countryview for a night of candy and lots of fun.

Join the Majestic Theatre for the next Friday morning Chamber Coffee on September 20 at 10 a.m.
