The Table Coffeehouse Welcomed Into Community During Chamber Coffee, Ribbon Cutting Event

WAYNE – This week’s host for Friday morning chamber coffee was The Table, a coffee shop located on Main Street in Wayne.

The grand opening event also featured a ribbon cutting.

Director of Christian Student Fellowship, Justin Raulston said they’ve seen the community rally.

“I think that’s been the one thing we’ve enjoyed the most,” said Raulston. “We’ve been reminded how awesome our community is. We want them here hanging out, getting to know each other and we want the place full of people, sitting down, having conversations around a table.”

Christian Student Fellowship has eight campuses across Nebraska and South Dakota as CSF runs The Table. Raulston visits the campuses working with staff.

The Table is open from 7 a.m. – 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday while being closed on Sunday’s. Along with Kelly Williams and Lisa Lenihan being house managers, The Table has a staff of three in the morning, four over lunch and one in the afternoon and evenings.

Call The Table at 402-369-3479 or like The Table Coffee House on Facebook for more information.

The Table is a ministry first and Raulston added they’re a non for-profit business.

“If we make any money it all goes back into our campus ministries all over the midwest in helping us do that,” Raulston added. “So, we just see this as a ministry first, like we want it to be a place that people to hangout and enjoy it. We just want to say thank you to the community for being so encouraging through that.”
