Ricketts To Visit Seven Communities In Four Days During Governor’s Cup Victory Tour

NORFOLK – Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts will be making a trip across the state this week thanking businesses during a Governor’s Cup victory tour.

According to a release from the office of Governor Ricketts, he will visit seven communities over the next four days.

Nebraska won the 2018 Governor’s Cup from ‘Site Selection’ magazine for having the most economic development projects per capita in the nation. This is the third consecutive year Nebraska has won the prestigious economic development award.

During the victory tour, Governor Ricketts will thank businesses across the state that helped win the Governor’s Cup.

Governor Ricketts will begin the tour on Tuesday, July 9 at Nelnet in Lincoln at 9:30 a.m. before making another stop in Lincoln and then heading to Omaha for the remainder of the day. The Governor will then start in northeast Nebraska on Thursday, July 11 at Michael Foods in Bloomfield at 10:15 a.m.; go to Weiland Doors in Norfolk at 1:30 p.m. and make a stop in Columbus at 3:30 p.m.

Closing out his final day of the victory tour, Governor Ricketts will also stop in Minden and Sidney on Friday, July 12.
