NSCS Tuition Rates To Go Up About $4.50 Over Next Two Years

WAYNE – Over the next two years colleges within the Nebraska State College System will see a rise in tuition rates.

After the Board of Trustees met Tuesday, the approval of about $4.50 per credit hour will take place this school year. Chadron State College, Peru State College and Wayne State College will see the figure raised to $181.50 per credit hour.

Also, the board approved another $4.50 increase taking place in the 2020-21 school year, which will raise the in-state tuition to $186 per credit hour.

For out-of-state students, the tuition will go up to $363 per credit hour this coming school year and $372 the following year.

This will also mark the fifth and sixth straight years tuition has gone up at Nebraska State College System campuses.
