WAYNE – Events were highlighted from the Fair Office during Friday morning Chamber Coffee entering the weekend.

Going into the Friday night event President of the Fair Board, Kevin Davis talked about a change to the tractor pull.

“We will not have the unlimited tractors, we’ll have the big boys with the 4-wheel drive pick-ups which will replace them,” said Davis. “But, should still be quite a show.”

The two TV’s will be back including a leaderboard screen.

Livestock entries were coming in throughout the day Wednesday and the Bullriding entertainment put on another great show Thursday night.

Contact the Fair Office at 402-375-5531 as they’ll open daily at 8:30 a.m.

Another update was a name change to the Commercial Building.

“So, we put it out there on Facebook and we came up with the Wayne County Expo Center,” Davis added. “There’s going to be a lot of good things going on in there. They’ve got some different activities lined up all different days.”

The dual-track tractor pull is back for Friday night entertainment at 6:30 p.m. The Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League and Nebraska Bush Pullers will take to the grandstand with live entertainment provided by Mrs. Begley and The Boys at 9 p.m. in the Beer Garden.

Also, TV’s have been hung up around the fairgrounds that will highlight fair events.

“It’ll be flashbacks of stuff that went on and then what’s going to happen on that day,” Davis mentioned. “So, it’ll be a day behind, but it’ll be a list of things that people can see that are going on.”
