Summer Events Continue At The Wayne Public Library, Sign-Up For Escape Room By Tuesday

WAYNE – As the month of July begins, more summer fun for all ages is scheduled at the Wayne Public Library.

The library is located at 410 Pearl Street and is open Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Friday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

On Tuesday, learn about the History of Rock N Roll at 1 p.m. from WSC Alum, Katie Warner. Come prepared to dance and sing along to experience something new. After the Library Board meets at 5 p.m. also view an awarding winning musical movie at 7 p.m.

The Wayne Public Library will be closed on Wednesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day, but back open for two events titled, “Escape Room” later this week. Gather friends together and join on either Thursday, July 5 or Friday, July 6. Teams of 4-6 players must register by Tuesday, July 3 at the front desk or can call 402-375-3135 with any questions. Ages for the Escape Room are 8-12 or 15 and older. Teams will have 45 minutes to solve the puzzles and escape the room which will be set up according to ages of the registered participants.
