Ruth Bruns age 92 of Wayne, died Tuesday at The Oaks Senior Living Community in  Wayne.
Funeral Service for Ruth Bruns will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Wayne.

Visitation will be at the Hasemann Funeral Home in Wayne from 5-8pm Friday with family present from 5-7pm.

Interment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne.

Arrangements are with Hasemann Funeral Home in Wayne.
Memorials: to the American Cancer Society.

    Ruth Evelyn Bruns was born September 20, 1918on a farm southwest of Wayne to Alvin George and Maggie May (Lindsay) Wert. She attended country school and graduated from WayneHigh School. Ruth married Malvin George Bruns December 31, 1940at Redeemer Lutheran Church Parsonage in Wayne. The couple farmed until moving into Wayne.  Ruth was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.
    Ruth is survived by her husband, Malvin; sons, Art Bruns of Wayne and Joseph (Dyleen) Bruns of Norfolk; daughter, Jayne (Edgar) Clemens of Hickman;  fourteen grandchildren;  and twenty-four great-grandchildren;  nieces and nephews.
    Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and three sisters.
    Ruth’s family appreciates your thoughts and kindness and invites you to lunch in the church fellowship hall following the committal service.
