Posted: 27 July, 2010
The Wayne City Attorneys Office has asked the Nebraska Attorney General’s office to investigate an alleged break in at a
downtown gas station. Assistant City Attorney Amy Miller told Country 1590 and Y 104 news that they have contacted the State office in order for the Nebraska State Patrol to Investigate the case due to a conflict of interest. Miller says that there is a surveillance video of the incident which occurred at the Sinclair station at 603 main street either last Wednesday night or early Thursday morning but she has not seen it yet and does not know if any suspects can be identified. Miller says she has not heard back from the Attorney Generals office yet about the case.
