Helen Fuoss age 91 of Laurel formerly of Wayne, died Monday at Hillcrest Care Center Laurel. Funeral Service is Thursday 1:30 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Wayne

    Helen Louise Fuoss was born January 10, 1919 at Wayne to Fred and Helena (Thies) Westerhouse. She attended school in Wayne.  Helen married Ted Fuoss September 4, 1934 at Watertown, South Dakota.  The couple farmed near Concord, Laurel, Canby, MN and later Wayne.  Helen was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church Wayne.


    Helen is survived by her children, Jeanette (Ken) Thomas of Bellevue, Ralph (Darlene) Fuoss of Glenwood, IA, Lila Kay of Wayne, Joyce Moore of Omaha, Elaine (Bill) Lueders of Wayne, Larry Fuoss of Laurel, and Debra (Greg) Urwiler of Laurel; over 90 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.


    Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband,   Ted in 1989; granddaughter, Keri Jo Thomas; daughter, Marian Surber; two sons-in-law, Harold Surber and Johnnie Kay; and a sister, Lila Jones.


    Helen’s family appreciates your thoughts and kindness and invites you to lunch in the church fellowship hall following the committal service.
