Arlys F. Reynolds, 67, of Wakonda, South Dakota, formerly of Crofton, passed away on August 17, 2017 in Wakonda, S.D. with friends and family by her side.

Arlys was born on December 1, 1949 in Crofton, Neb. to Ruben and Dorothy Doering. She was the 9th of 10 children. Arlys graduated from Crofton High School in 1968. On December 27, 1986, she married Marlin Reynolds, of Laurel.

She is survived by her husband, Marlin, of Wakonda, S.D.; Two daughters, Kerri (Mike) McNeal, of Olathe, Kansas; Kaye (Scott Troyer), of Kansas City, Missouri; one son, Kevin (Abbey) Ness, of Olathe, Kansas; one step-son, David (Karla) Reynolds, of Omaha, Nebraska; step-daughter, Sandy (Richard Gladden) Rosinski, of Council Bluffs, Iowa; step-daughter, Jayne Ward, of Omaha, Nebraska and nine grandchildren: Caden McNeal, of Olathe, KS; Kenna McNeal, of Olathe, KS; Rebecca Ness, of Olathe, KS; Phil Anderson, of Wayne, Nebraska; Laura Anderson, of Neligh, Nebraska; Amanda (Burt) Newman, of Chadron, Nebraska; Brad Reynolds, of Omaha, Nebraska; Katie Horeis, of Omaha, Nebraska and Jake Horeis, of Grand Island, Nebraska and 8 siblings.

Arlys was preceded in death by her parents, Ruben and Dorothy; brother, Robert Doering; first husband, Roger Bartz during his military service.

A memorials service will be held Friday, August 25, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Hansen Funeral Home in Irene, South Dakota.
